Job Description:
We are looking to hire a Recruiter to work in partnership with a number of our clients, functioning as an "Internal" Recruiter for our clients. Key activities include:
- Understanding of the full recruitment life cycle from Talent Mapping/ workforce planning and through to onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers and clients to understand job requirements and grasp quickly what is needed to successfully fulfil the role!
- Produce thoughtful and diversity-focused job descriptions.
- Develops recruiting materials and strategies that ensure a successful search including social media posting strategies and out-of-the-box solutions for hard-to-find candidates.
- Responsible for full-cycle recruiting including sourcing, applicant testing, interviewing, detailed reference checking, presenting, and closing qualified candidates
- Pre-screen candidates by phone, video conference, or in-person using behavioural based interviewing methodologies and targeted questioning to ensure competency and cultural fit
- Manage and coordinate communication with hiring managers, recruiters and candidates
- Track recruiting activity in ATS
- Provide an exceptional candidate experience and represent the company with integrity and professionalism
- Passionately drive results, think and act quickly and operate in the best interest of the company objectives
- Stay connected to the competitive landscape, including trends in tech recruiting and compensation
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Previous experience working in house as a recruiter or HR Generalist with a passion for recruitment
- A minimum of 5 years of previous successful recruiting experience, preferably working with IT professionals, Technical Sales, or a combination of both.
- Basic knowledge of IT terminology and concepts, and the willingness to continue to learn about the latest technologies would be a significant benefit.
- Great communication skills both in talking with others professionally (on the phone and in-person), and in basic business writing such as letters, job postings, marketing materials, etc.
- Ability to proactively recruit candidates (i.e. proactive headhunting, attending local user group meetings, etc)
- Experience with Internet sourcing techniques and conducting Boolean searches.
- Recruiting experience utilizing social media
- A strong understanding of employee brand development
- An understanding of talent mapping and talent management
- A desire to meet goals and be the best.
- A completed Bachelor’s degree.
