About The Role

Financeit is seeking a Regional Sales Manager based in Montreal to drive sales volume in the partnership with The Home Depot in Eastern Canada. The RSM will maintain relationships with Store Leadership and Associates, Installation Service Providers, and Pro Referral merchants.

The successful candidate will be a hardworking, self-driven and motivated individual with great team spirit. This individual is an exceptional relationship manager, solutions oriented, and data focused. The role will require someone that is able to present the product to a large audience, schedule/conduct training sessions with key user groups, and develop a strong knowledge of the Financeit product suite for Big Box.

The Regional Sales Manager will be expected to focus 50-75% of their efforts in the field visiting stores, and interacting with merchants within their defined territory.

What you’ll do

  • Increase Project Loan Card usage in Home Depot retail stores and installer groups across Canada to drive sales
  • Develop relationships with key decision-makers and build strategic partnerships with various groups in the Home Depot ecosystem
  • Host enablement sessions and offer product training to Home Depot field sales/in-store staff
  • Maintain accountability through daily and weekly reporting of all sales activities
  • Produce reports, analyze data, identify trends, and provide recommendations
  • Communicate process and system gaps when discovered to appropriate levels of management
  • Strive to meet individual and team targets on a monthly basis
  • Travel is required

Requirements

  • College diploma or Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience with hands-on direct sales, channel sales, or relationship management
  • 2+ years of experience in lending, financial services or banking is preferred
  • Prior experience selling into Retail or Big Box environment is preferred
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing successful business-to-business sales and service relationships in an asset
  • Experience in consumer lending, SaaS or financial services is preferred
  • Experience using CRM tools, ideally Salesforce
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Fluent in English and French
