Accounting Technician
We're looking fo a rigorous and resourceful Accounting Technician to join our Finance team. Some of your tasks will be:
- Reconciliation and maintenance of supplier files
- Reconciliation of purchase orders against invoices
- Invoice entry in Quickbooks
- Ensure the digitization of accounts payable documents
- Primary classification of transactions in the accounting system
- Verification of the accuracy of the data in the system
- Verify and sometimes prepare sales invoices, statements of account, follow-up with customers in default of payment
- Participate in the preparation of payroll and administrative management of employees
- Perform bank reconciliation, account analysis, and variance analysis
- Assist in the preparation of shift end and year-end files
- Participate in the preparation of credit or financing files
- Participate in special projects related to accounting.
- Providing administrative support
Requirements
What you need to succeed:
- Bachelor's or other relevant education in accounting
- Excellent management of priorities and ability to meet deadlines
- Good judgement in applying accounting rules
- Strong ability to organize yourself, be resourceful and demonstrate initiative in an environment that is structuring itself
- Excellent ability to analyze and attention to details
- Good knowledge of Quickbooks and ReceiptBank
- Bilingual French and English
