Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Technology, the Senior Dynamics AX/365 Developer will have a deep understanding of D365 Famp;O, ability to analyze business requirements as well as design technical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop, custom D365 application components based on Goodfood’s requirements using .NET, X++ or other object-oriented programming language.
- Develop and maintain all integration (API, Odata connections, EDI, Flat files) between all business applications from Dynamics standpoint.
- Work with business unit and department leaders to analyze business requirements.
- Provide development task timeline estimates and high-level designs to define optimal solutions, customs vs. default functionality.
- Prepare technical design documents that translate business requirements into workable functionality.
- Follow development best practices and software development life cycle processes.
- Ensure that modifications, extensions and customization are well documented.
- Provide technical and functional knowledge of development of technologies, LCS and Azure DevOps.
- Create business process automation opportunities using Power Automation and Power Apps.
- Work with functional teams to design, test and implement customization.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
- Advance development skills; X++, C#, SQL, Azure Devops.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience with D365/AX programming.
- Microsoft Dynamics AX Object Oriented programming experience utilizing X++.
- SSRS reporting experience.
- Azure experience is a plus.
- Must have strong problem solving skills and be capable of breaking down complex situations to discover and resolve root causes.
