Job Description

We are looking for a qualified and motivated Content Marketing Coordinator to join our team.

This role works alongside the Director of Content Marketing amp; Brand Identity to keep the wheels turning smoothly behind the scenes. Our goals are to work towards fostering customer engagement, increasing brand awareness, and expanding Truly Financial’s digital footprint.


The Person:

Our ideal candidate is an experienced Content professional with demonstrable creative writing and project management skills. You’re equally adept at each of the following:


  • Editing first drafts of long and short form content
  • Whipping up snappy microcopy
  • Reimagining existing content into ideas for micro-pieces / email copy / social posts
  • Reporting on content performance analytics.


As the position’s title suggests, this role has a heavy emphasis on coordination. You will own and drive the seamless management of a wide variety of marketing efforts.

These multifaceted initiatives require a detail-oriented, strategically-inclined, and organized individual to wrangle them. You’ll spend much of your time moving pieces in play, solving for efficiency by asking How can this be improved?, and implementing solutions.


Responsibilities:

  • Edit, proofread, and improve externally generated copy for adherence to content brief, grammatical soundness, technical accuracy and brand compliance.
  • Manage the distribution of newsletters, promotional emails, social media plugs, and blog publishing (training will be provided).
  • Create 1-2 original content pieces per month (Blog post, video, or other media).
  • Write clear and concise copy to be used in marketing efforts.
  • Use content management systems to analyze website traffic and user engagement metrics.
  • Evaluate and monitor campaign performance on an ongoing basis by analyzing key metrics and creating actionable reports.
  • Assist with developing and managing content and social media marketing programs, including mixed media and gated content efforts.


Reports To: Director, Content Marketing amp; Brand Identity

Location: Remote-Friendly

Hours: 9am - 6pm ET

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with focus in Marketing / Communications / Finance or related field.
  • 2-3 years proven work experience in a Content Marketing role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills.
  • Must have strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail.
  • Self-starter with the ability to independently prioritize tasks and move projects forward.
  • Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing.
  • Strong analytical skills to decipher data trends and generate insightful reports.
  • High level of creativity and comfort with learning and using new technologies.
  • Familiarity with SEO and knowledge of web traffic metrics strongly preferred.
  • Exposure to Payment and/or Banking industry considered an advantage.
