We are looking for an Associate Director, Demand Generation to join our growing team. This individual will be an entrepreneurial and result-driven B2B marketing professional with a proven track record of success in digital marketing and deep expertise in SEO, Paid Acquisition, Google Analytics, Conversion and Optimization.

About you:

You are a data-obsessed marketer who focuses on analytics, iterative design, and rapid experimentation. You are as comfortable designing a landing page as you are at search engine optimization. You are well-versed in using data to support your decisions, taking a forensic approach to analyzing results to drive optimization of the growth marketing strategy.

You are currently a demand generation specialist, growth marketer or digital marketing manager looking to take on a new and exciting opportunity in a fast-growing organization. You are excited by the opportunity to grow and scale a demand generation program for WPIC. You have experience in building a performance marketing engine and ensuring that it operates at a high level. You are comfortable in both building out a program and getting your hands dirty in the back-end of the system. You have collaborated with external agencies in the past and know how to get the best work out of them.

About the role:

This full-time role is based out of our Gastown office in downtown Vancouver, BC; you will work part-time from home; part-time in a socially distant office.

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will focus on steering WPIC’s B2B demand generation strategy and execution, growth marketing, website management, CRM maintenance, and reporting. Specifics include:

  • Owning the strategy, execution, analysis and ongoing optimization of paid and organic marketing channels. This will include planning paid media strategy, campaign management, and ad operations.
  • Owning paid channels and search ad campaigns from strategy, planning, execution to measurement and reporting.
  • Working with cross-functional teams to develop our B2B demand generation strategy and account-based marketing strategies in support of net new and expansion business.
  • Working with sales to ensure no lead is left behind. Managing and optimizing lead processes including scoring, routing and nurturing, and efficient handover processes to the sales team.
  • Designing and implementing all aspects of Demand Generation campaigns, including asset development, budgets, configuration and metrics.
  • Developing and iterating on the Demand Generation processes to continuously improve the way things are done
  • Augmenting, refining, and evangelizing our measurement of success. Create best practices to streamline reporting processes and drive effective communications throughout the organization.
  • Managing our website (currently built via WordPress), landing pages, and website roadmap, using a combination of design expertise and data analysis to drive conversions through the sales funnel.
  • Owning all aspects of marketing automation, from lead nurture campaigns to paid remarketing, and everything in-between.
  • Partnering with content lead and broader marketing team to ensure strategic and topical alignment across content creation, asset development and sales programs.
  • Building, developing and executing SEO strategy and tactics implementing best practice meta tags, header tags and meta descriptions as well as running technical SEO audits and implementing recommendations
  • Acting as lead manager of the CRM
  • Liaising with external agency partners + freelance support

Requirements

  • 3-5 years experience in B2B performance marketing (agency or client-side)
  • Degree in digital marketing, business or related field
  • 3+ years of driving results in Google Ads
  • Extensive knowledge of Google Analytics and experience leveraging the platform t
