The Manager of Inside Sales will take ownership of an existing team of Corporate Account Executive and Sales Development Representatives (SDR) and will have immediate headcount to grow this global function to support the rapid growth of the business as we expand. This position is based in Vancouver, BC.


Responsibilities
  • Build winning teams through attracting, hiring, and developing the world’s best inside sales and sales development professionals
  • Responsible for driving qualified meetings with enterprise customers through the teams inbound and outbound activities, and account-based marketing support for the purpose of developing a pipeline from both new sales and upsell opportunities
  • Focus on program and process building
  • Enable your team to deliver extreme value and help our customers throughout the sales process by demonstrating the immense value
  • Provide actionable feedback and solutions to improve our go-to-market strategy
  • Run a full sales process from prospecting to close
  • Help the team with incoming leads, qualifying opportunities, and building a pipeline
  • Identify stakeholders, map out decision making process, and build account plans
  • Leverage resources across Tigera to effectively execute account plan
  • Blow past your sales targets and have fun doing it


Requirements

Most importantly, you are passionate about coaching and mentoring. You enjoy building and enabling successful teams through a clear vision, structure, and strategy. You are known for being able to create a thriving team culture focused on trust, process, and best practices, not a micromanaging of your team members.

  • At least 3 years of sales management experience with at least 2+ years of inside sales management experience selling software
  • Demonstrated experience building, managing, growing, and developing an inside sales and SDR team
  • Proven track record of successful selling and leading inside sales
  • Experience building programs from the ground up to drive high-performing organizations. Proven success in driving pipeline through inbound and outbound prospecting strategies
  • Experience with a consultative sales process, and the proven ability to sell a complex architecture to developer and IT teams
  • Value-based sales approach
  • A disciplined approach to sales
  • Experience negotiating with procurement teams
  • Ability to execute a go-to-market strategy and prospect into accounts using lead generation tools, SFDC, research, cold calling, and more
