Who You Are
We are currently seeking a talented Product Developer to join our team to support the product development and commercialization process for our brands B Yoga and Halfmoon. Our ideal candidate has several years of experience in product development in the health, apparel, or home markets for a wholesale or retail brand in consumer goods distributed and sold within North America. A skill set in sewing and patternmaking would be an asset, as well as technical knowledge of textiles and the components involved with home/yoga goods such as bolsters, cushions, blankets and pillows. Note: we are open to either full time or part time (25 hour minimum) for this role based on your preference.
Purpose
Located at our Headquarters in Burnaby, BC, the Product Developer reports to the Director, Product Line Management and works closely with our other Product Developers, Operations, Sewers, Marketing, and external suppliers and vendors. The Product Developer’s purpose is to ensure Mindful Collective’s products are aligned with the brand’s mission, values and positioning and products meet or exceed the company’s financial goals.

B Yoga is known for their incredibly grippy yoga mat, while Halfmoon is known for their handcrafted bolsters, meditation cushions and wellness products. At Mindful Collective we utilize a multi-channel sales strategy selling ecommerce, supplying to yoga studios, providing wholesalers for retailers large and small, and supplying to distributors globally. We are headquartered in Toronto and Vancouver, with a satellite office in LA.
