What We’re Looking for:

We are looking for an experienced leader to lead our People and Places team. The next year will see considerable growth (again) as we scale to almost double our size (again.) We are 100% committed to maintaining the incredible culture that we have grown and we know that this is not easy as we scale so quickly, so we need a leader who knows how to help us do this. The last year has seen some incredible changes to our business, including pivoting from being in the office every day, to going 100% remote. The future for Later is looking like a hybrid version of that and we need leadership to light the way into a whole new way of working. You will need to be an expert communicator, highly nimble, and people first-person! Your team will consist of 1 exceptional generalist, 2 recruiters and one people administrator. They are smart, agile and hardworking and we want to find them a leader that can inspire and develop them.


Responsibilities:

Company Culture and Values

  • Collaborates with executive leadership to define the organization's long-term mission and goals; identifies ways to support this mission through talent management.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of programs to help foster the growth of Later’s core values across all teams
  • Ensure that all decisions and processes are aligned with Later's culture and core values

Employee Relations and Engagement

  • Evaluate and develop processes and policies to increase engagement in a hybrid office environment.
  • Oversee employee relations and help your team communicate and educate internal staff full range of HR company policies, guidelines and procedures, along with relevant employment-related laws, regulations and standards

Workforce planning

  • Identifies key performance indicators for the organization's human resource and talent management functions; assesses the organization's success and market competitiveness based on these metrics.
  • Be an integral part in planning WFP requirements, budgets and understand company needs.
  • Oversee a team of 2 recruiters. Ensure their strategic planning needs are met.
  • Help priorities recruitment planning
