What We’re Looking for:

We are looking for an experienced Master Technical Recruiter to join our People and Places team. The next year will see considerable growth (again) as we scale to almost double our size (again.) The last year has seen some incredible changes to our business, including pivoting from being in the office every day to going 100% remote. The future for Later is looking like a hybrid version of that and we need an amazing Master Technical Recruiter to help us scale and to light the way into a whole new way of working.

We are looking for someone who is a passionate recruiter with a flair and passion for technical recruitment - although we don't need you to actually code, we do need you to know how to speak the language of our wonderful technical candidates! Ideally, you will know the difference between Java and C# - be able to say that Ruby is more than just precious stone, and know what we mean when we say fullstack!!

Responsibilities:

Key activities include:

  • Partner with hiring managers and clients to understand requisition requirements
  • Produce job descriptions
  • Develops recruiting materials and strategies that ensure a successful search
  • Responsible for full cycle recruiting including sourcing, applicant testing, interviewing, detailed reference checking, presenting, and closing qualified candidates
  • Pre-screen candidates by phone, video conference, or in-person using behavioral based interviewing methodologies and targeted questioning to ensure competency and cultural fit
  • Manage and coordinate communication with hiring managers, recruiters and candidates
  • Track recruiting activity in ATS
  • Provide an exceptional candidate experience and represent the company with integrity and professionalism
  • Passionately drive results, think and act quickly and operate in the best interest of the company objectives
  • Stay connected to the competitive landscape, including trends in tech recruiting and compensation
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements


  • A minimum of 5 years previous successful recruiting experience, working with IT professionals.
  • Great communication skills both in talking with others professionally (on the phone and in person), and in basic business writing such as letters, job postings, marketing materials, etc.
  • Ability to proactively recruit candidates (i.e. proactive outbound calling, attending local user group meetings, etc)
  • Experience with Internet sourcing techniques and conducting Boolean searches.
  • Recruiting experience utilizing social media
  • A desire to meet goals and be the best.
  • A completed Bachelor’s degree.

Technical Experience

  • Very strong knowledge of IT terminology and concepts, and the willingness to continue to learn about the latest technologies
  • Previous experience using an ATS/HRIS systems - BambooHR and Workable
  • Proficient in Google docs and or the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong understanding and familiar with the use of social media p
