Job Description

ExoShield is a transparent film that is applied on a vehicle’s windshield (just like window tint) to prevent stone chips. ExoShield is a must have anyone who owns vehicles with sensor-enabled safety systems (ADAS), and wants to protect themselves against increasingly expensive windshield replacements. With 900 million vehicles with ADAS-technology entering the market in the next decade, our goal is to position ExoShield as the primary solution to what will be a $175 billion/year problem.

ExoShield is the first product of Alchemy, a Y-Combinator funded startup and is backed by leading angel and venture capital investors in Canada, Silicon Valley, France, and China.

We’re looking for someone to join our team as an Account Executive, to grow Exoshield’s presence in the market through our channel partners.

Job Description

ExoShield is sold through channel partners (detailers, tint shops, car dealerships, distributors) in 21 countries today. In this role, you’ll be tasked with helping our channel partners thrive with ExoShield once they’ve come onboard and becoming their go-to person for everything related to ExoShield.

Reporting to our Chief Revenue Officer, you'll be responsible for closing and onboarding new partners in your respective territory, and working with your accounts to grow ExoShield sales at their business and generate re-orders. As the main point of contact for your accounts, you will be tasked with tailoring your support for each partner in order to help them succeed, and collecting feedback/data from our partners to understand how we can grow as a company to better support our partners.

At a high level, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing and applying product and industry knowledge to close warm/hot prospects that have been developed by our Sales Development Representatives
  2. Onboarding new partners to the ExoShield ecosystem once they have placed their first order and building a healthy working relationship with them
  3. Working closely with our channel partners to drive sell-through success and generate repeat sales
  4. Developing a deep understanding of each partner, their business, and their local market to build an ExoShield growth strategy alongside them
  5. Consulting channel partners on effective sales amp; marketing strategies and installation techniques
  6. Understanding and solving blockers that are slowing or preventing prospect sales and partner reorders
  7. Building dependable and achievable revenue forecasts amp; achievement plans for your portfolio of channel partners
  8. Leveraging your relationships with channel partners to source strategic referrals to support our network growth objectives
  9. Working closely with our marketing team to inform their development of partner success resources and sales amp; marketing enablement content

We're looking for a personable and persuasive individual that’s an excellent written and oral communicator; someone who can balance dozens of active conversations with customers and build deep relationships with our channel partners. You don’t need to have worked in the automotive industry to succeed in this role, but you need to be able to connect with our partners on a personal and professional level in order to build trust and foster a mutually successful relationship.

The following experiences and skills will help you succeed in this role:

  1. 2+ years of experience managing channel sales accounts in automotive, hardware, or technology fields
  2. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (Spanish and/or French are a bonus )
  3. Polished phone, text, and email communication skills (Instagram and Facebook communication skills are a huge bonus)
  4. Strong capability to digest every technical and non-technical detail about products and their ecosystems, and leveraging it to help partners succeed
  5. Strong ability to bridge communication and cultural barriers when speaking with partners that have different backgrounds and perspectives
  6. Experience keeping detailed and organized notes, managing schedules, and communicating in a timely manner
  7. Experience working with CRMs and managing sales funnels
  8. A get-it-done attitude with a contagious
