On-site Manager (part time - 20 hrs per week)

Are you looking for PT work and have strong customer service skills? Are you retired and looking to stay working in a reduced capacity or maybe you are getting back into the workforce but can only work minimal hours? C-Era Property Management is looking for a part-time On-site Manager for a large complex in Calgary. The right person for this position should be organized and have the ability to manage their own time and the work that needs to be completed. The candidate will be reporting directly to the board of directors as well as to the management company.

1. Hours of work - 8:00am 12:00pm Monday to Friday inclusive. Excluding statutory holidays. Some flexibility in hours could be accommodated (i.e. 9:00am -1:00pm)
2. Part of the duties include customer service driven services with 220 members. You will be required to be available to receive comments, complaints, questions, from all owners during the working hours.
3. You will need to be able to make decisions on which trade to call, when a trade needs to be called due to an emergency and determine if a situation is an emergency, etc.
4. You will need to attend a board meeting once a month, 2 hours in the evening.

Requirements

1. Office skills such as note taking, organization skills, etc. will be needed.
2. Working knowledge of spreadsheets.
3. A strong, patient personality with the ability to deal with concerns and issues that may arise.
4. Good knowledge of bylaws and Policies and Procedure manuals.
5. Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).
6. Knowledge of typical business correspondence (grammar, structure, punctuation, spelling, etc.) at a proficient level.
7. Time management and time critical prioritization skills
8. Basic knowledge of trades would be an asset.
