THE GOAL
Our Project Managers are ultimately the relationship stakeholders with our clients and our internal technical teams. They have the difficult but rewarding experience of managing project delivery from conception through to project completion and beyond.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Evaluate business processes, anticipate and uncover requirements, determine areas of improvement for existing systems and processes, develop superior solutions
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget
- Coordinate internal resources and vendors for the flawless execution of projects sometimes managing competing resources and priorities
- Document and communicate the results of your efforts
- Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements
- Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce useful reports that generate insights
- Perform and/or coordinate User Acceptance Testing
- Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of project objectives
- Relationship building, influence change and thrive in a peer-based environment
- You will be evaluated on your ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions and prioritize initiatives
- Value add to the client is a key metric
EXPOSURE TO THE FOLLOWING AN ASSET
- Proven project execution and successful delivery of IT projects
- Experience with enterprise-level application development projects
- Solid technical background; ability to accurately and objectively evaluate complex project risks and issues
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills (internal, client facing, vendor facilitation)
- ITIL or PMP certification a plus
- Knowledge of systems, networking, computer equipment and data base management systems an asset
