As a Technical Analyst III - Google Admin, you will be part of a team that will partner with business users and other IT teams to support, grow and mature the use of Google Workspace within the enterprise. You will also be involved with Google Workspace governance and compliance collaborating with our cross functional teams. You will be part of the Google Workspace Admins for the operational effectiveness of the Google Suite of products, Google Cloud and adjoining technologies in the collaboration ecosystem.

This position will involve a multitude of operational tasks such as supporting cloud applications, remote maintenance and troubleshooting, computing devices support including mobile and tablets, device imaging and deployment as well as continually doing your part to support Team Members on their journey towards technical proficiency. Daily duties consist of prioritizing, resolving, routing and scheduling all incoming internal technology support requests. You will partner with cross functional technology and operational teams to ensure requests are being routed and resolved with great customer satisfaction. A Technical Analyst III - Google Workspace Admin will be responsible for our Team Members happiness by providing smart, simple and helpful solutions.

Technical Requirements:

  • Google Workspace Admin platform management
    • Administer, manage and maintain Google Workspace ecosystem
    • Provide day-to-day activities in the admin console
    • Collaborate with Google product managers and strategists to evaluate and recommend new Google Workspace features and enhancements as well as increase adoption of Google Workspace capabilities within the enterprise
    • Actively engaged with Google support by creating, managing and facilitating incident management
    • Manage and remediate issues related to Chromebooks and Chrome browser support for Windows and MacOS devices
    • Perform scripting administration tasks and reporting using PowerShell or other scripting technology, developing scripts for automating processes
    • Coordination of changes in conjunction with established change management policies
    • Collaborate with other technical and functional teams to Document and support business rules, system operating procedures that pertain to the Google platform. Enhance documentation periodically for currency and relevance
    • Partner with Security, Audit and Risk teams to enforce cross platform security and audit controls
    • Administer and manage the publishing and revocation of apps and extensions
    • Act as the single point of contact for P1 and P2 incidents, perform business impact assessments, coordinate and carry out suitable resolutions involving key technical teams including Google support. Provide problem resolution reports for management as required
    • Escalate support issues to Google Support, follow up and resolve them in a timely manner

Requirements

As the ideal candidate you posses:

  • Undergraduate degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of training and experience (Eg. Computer Science diploma).
  • At least 2-4 years of experience administering GSuite for an enterprise
  • Setup and administration of SaaS based solutions for the enterprise.
  • Be a team player who constantly seeks process improvements allowing our Team Members to do their best work.
  • Must be a self starter, with good time management skills, able to manage multiple activities simultaneously while requiring little or no oversight and or direction.
  • Working knowledge of the following practices and concepts: service level agreements, technical standards and deliverables, event triage and troubleshooting techniques, analyzing log files, network protocols and adhering to security best practices and policies.
  • Must be able to create design documents, system operating procedures amp; FAQs
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Must demonstrate strong analytical, critical thinking, problem solving skills with ability to apply new technologies, concepts, amp; functionality to solve problems and implement solutions.
  • Experience and a working knowledge of ticketing systems such as ServiceNow preferred
