Divine Flooring is seeking an experienced Service Technician for Tile amp; Carpet repairs to join our Calgary team. This position will be based out of our Calgary Head Office and is a temporary Full-Time position.

Primary Job Purpose

The Service Technician is responsible for completing flooring repairs at various job sites throughout the city. In addition to providing excellent service to our customers, the Service Technician will need to collect signatures from the customers on work orders when services have been completed. This individual must adhere to all safety policies, complete hazard assessments and participate in all service meetings and upload all paperwork (work orders, hazard assessments, etc.) to the Company’s operating system.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Inspect, maintain and repair flooring products for clients at various job site throughout the city.
  • Responsible for ensuring that Divine standards are being upheld on all tile projects (single family, multi-family and commercial projects)
  • Maintain cleanliness of service vehicles, tools and equipment.
  • Communicate with the service team in the office as required.
  • Upload all paperwork (work orders, hazard assessments) to the Company’s operating system.
  • Obtain customer signatures on completed work orders.
  • Actively participate in service meetings.
  • Complete hazard assessments, vehicle inspections and other safety documentation as outlined in the Company’s safety manual.
  • Ensuring correct materials have been delivered to site and the materials have been added to the Divine's operating system
  • Provide training on technical details of tile installation methods and procedures
  • Provide technical support for Divine staff

Requirements

Skills Required - Technical

  • Vast experience amp; knowledge in Tile and Carpet installation
  • Basic hand tool experience
  • Basic computer skills

Skills Required - Non Technical

  • Valid Driver's License Class 5
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues on site in a timely manner
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and follow up on tasks
  • Excellent organization skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work well individually with little supervision
  • Reliable, punctual and dedicated
