What you'll be doing

This role is a part-time freelance contract role (15 hours / week). We’re looking for an exceptional, bright SEO Professional to join our high-performing Growth team.

Your ultimate goal will be to help Later’s Marketing team increase conversion volume and growth through scalable SEO initiatives.

You will be responsible for supporting our SEO efforts and projects as well as providing our teams with the data and insights they need to make informed decisions about our SEO strategy.


Reporting to the SEO Associate, this role will support the implementation, management, and optimization of SEO to Later.com. The SEO Freelancer will find insights that can be leveraged to drive additional traffic volume and ultimately revenue for the business. With a rapidly growing user-base in the millions, the ideal candidate for this role is highly data-driven, detail orientated and able to respond to changing circumstances and expectations readily.


Responsibilities
  • Support all current Search Engine Optimization efforts
  • Assist and perform SEO content audits and recommend improvements
  • Support with keyword tracking
  • Perform ongoing on page optimizations
  • Identify trends and share keyword insights in order to achieve OKRs
  • Research and keep up to date with industry trends and algorithm update


What we're looking for
  • 2+ years of experience in a Search Engine Optimization role
  • Experience in on-page optimization with sound knowledge of on-page best practices and search intent
  • Demonstrates understanding of technical SEO (canonicalization, page rendering, metadata, sitemap and, etc.)
  • Experience with SEO content audits to improve traffic
  • Experience with top SEO tools: SEMrush, Search Console, ahrefs, Screaming
  • Proven ability to problem solve and self-learn
  • Data-driven amp; analytical mindset
  • A unique perspective on how to drive value for Saas


Nice to haves
  • Experience with tools such as Supermetrics, Google Datastudio, Amplitude and Google Analytics
  • International SEO knowledge
  • SEO copywriting experience is a plus
