Job Description

The Business Development Team is responsible for getting us those amazing projects and securing the best clients to work with. As a Public Relations Coordinator, you will work with the Business Development team to optimize our corporate brand through the following activities:


  • Press Release Development
  • Research industry and market trends to add value to proposal development
  • Proposals, presentation and other materials sent to existing and potential clients are proofed and look professional and beautiful
  • Develop and nurture new press and media relationships
  • Manage all PR campaign data
  • Attend special events and build industry relationships and represent the KEY brand
  • Ensure signage and company branding at each project site
  • Provide creative and strategic multi-platform PR campaigns
  • Set-up, manage, curate and/or create content for all social media outlets
  • Ensure all posts to social media outlets are to the highest degree of clarity, accuracy, professionalism and integrity.
  • Integrate relevant news, observances, special events, client feedback, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • For all social media outlets you: engage all followers, hashtags, retweets, direct messages, replies, thanks, etc.
  • Maintain and update corporate website with high quality pictures, exciting and engaging content, and incorporating the latest market news and trends.
  • SEO optimization and generating leads and website traffic is tracked and reported on
  • Digital Ad spend is monitored and results are tracked and reported on
  • Closely works with all departments to facilitate multi-faceted digital campaigns.
  • Additional duties will include execution of specific Public Relations activities.

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field
  • Experienced in writing and proofing editorial publications, social media posts, blog posts, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • An eye for detail
  • Savvy on all things digital
  • Commitment in following what is new and trending
  • Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills
  • Self-motivated, team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
