As part of the continuing growth of the Innovation program, we are looking to fill the position of Automation Lead to support our mission of creating high impact initiatives.
Working with the Head of Innovation, the Automation Lead will co-ordinate automation efforts across the Digital Construction and Digital Fabrication teams. This will require deep knowledge of CATIA automation to find new opportunities for increased efficiency as well as strong organizational skills to manage the priorities of multiple stake-holders.
This role requires approximately 50% of successful teammate time to be spent on executing Innovation initiatives and 50% of their time spent on projects.
Requirements
The Automation Lead will be primarily responsible for:
- Developing and enforcing best practices for internal automation tools
- Exploring new automation capabilities, VBA, C# etc.
- Supporting Innovation lead by building POC app when needed
- Estimating automation tool development time
- Leading the development or refinement of internal tools
- Supporting teammates in writing clear requirements for tool development requests
- Working with the Knowledge program to develop learning materials for automation skills
- Working with the Quality Program to ensure quality of internal tools
- Setting up, facilitating and maintaining Knowledge sharing across all EKL people in a continuous basis.
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
- Expert level EKL skills
- 6 months experience in leading projects or tool development
- Strong multi-tasking skills to coordinate tasks across projects and people
- Ability to create clear and concise learning materials (cmk videos, notebooks)
- Knowledge of multiple programming languages, VBA, C#, Java
- Demonstrated ability of executing tasks in a timely manner without deadlines or supervision
