We are currently seeking to fill our full time (Monday - Friday) Office Assistant/Graphic Designer position. As well as our Part-Time (Mondays amp; Fridays) Hours are 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. We are located in Charleswood and are a family run company.
We are seeking an individual who is able able to design logos, product packaging, print materials, and websites. Must have knowledge of design elements, such as colour, typography, and composition, as well as the artistic sensibility to effectively use these elements.
Possess excellent communication skills and be able to effectively present ideas visually and verbally to management , clients, and intended audiences. Work Mondays to Friday with flexibility to work evenings and or weekends to meet the needs of the business
Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Show knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography amp; limitations of online and offline design work. Draft mock-ups of brochures, website designs, email signatures, and any other marketing materials required
Collaborate with marketing teams as well as management to discuss which mockups are effective and use their feedback to develop the final draft. Work on multiple projects at once and consistently meet draft deadlines. Ability to work on a PC environment. Attention to detail
Able to prioritize and plan own workflow to effectively meet publication deadlines. Able to work under pressure with a can do attitude. Ability to adapt to change.
Requirements
2 Years or more: Experience working in a digital print shop and well as promotional item quoting software
2 Years or more: Experience working with Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop as well as a knowledge of Asana, mailchimp, and Clockify
