The Role
The Program amp; Fundraising Lead will own the process of building startups from scratch in our Toronto office - running the program that turns individuals into teams, helping them work on world changing tech ideas, and ultimately creating investable startups. This is a high responsibility role with an opportunity for immediate impact, as well as long-term incentives and development.
At EF, the Team enables the world’s most ambitious individuals to build world changing companies. This means taking a cohort of 50+ individuals and helping turn them into world-class startups. After the program stage, EF invests and the Fundraising Team prepares them for external funding.It once seemed impossible to build companies from scratch. Over the past 10 years, we've built a robust, scalable way to do this. Our method has enabled the creation of some of the most valuable startups produced in Europe and Asia. This is the Program Manager's ‘North Star’.

What You’ll Do
You will manage the team that runs the EF Toronto programme. This is the main company building part of EF and is a 14 week programme that begins from when we offer an individual, through to when we invest in the company they create. This team catalyses the work done by our Talent and Admissions efforts. This is the core of EF’s unique methodology.
You'll have responsibility for the quality of companies that are created during the EF Program. Your mission is to maximize the number of investable teams. Key responsibilities include:
* Systematically manage and run the program including different events, talks, content modules, team check-ins etc* Work with founders to help them progress into teams* Work with founders to ensure the ideas they are working on are as high potential as possible* Actively manage team breakups and formation and constant evaluation of development and communication to cohort and stakeholders* Develop EF's team building frameworks* Use EF's data to create optimal co-founding teams.* Manage the program team together with fundraising manager which works with individuals and founding teams to deliver target outcomes* Manage the cultivation process - ensure that every person who is offered joins the program. This is a high value opportunity and your mission will be to ensure that value is translated and communicated.* Own the pipeline of individuals to teams to EF investment decision
As part of the senior team in Toronto, you will: * Work closely with the Talent and Admissions team to identify and select the set of talented founders who are accepted on the program. * Influence North American strategy and work with the GM on strategic projects with high impact.
