Job Description

You will work directly for the Chief Communications Officer of Everbridge to lead Brand and Internal Communications for Everbridge. The role will include a diverse range of projects including strategic planning, development, and implementation for the corporate brand, employment brand, and internal communications. As an integral part of the Brand and Communications team, you will help to tell the Everbridge story across several formats.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is equipped with concise written and verbal communication, and excellent time-management and organizational skills. A creative outlook and collaborative spirit are musts, as well as the ability to work independently and with a group.What you'll do:
  • Lead strategic oversight of Internal Communications alignment and strategy
  • Develop brand playbooks for various communications projects including Mamp;A integrations, new brand launches, and brand refreshes
  • Partner with various departments supporting Brand and Communications Special Projects
  • Work closely with Chief Communications Officer on channel strategy
  • Develop and implement corporate training programs to align the company around new communications and brand resources, processes, and policies
  • Work closely with the broader marketing team, PR, and Creative team to lead projects related to both brand and internal communications
What you'll bring:
  • At least 5-7 years of professional experience in a related field including Communications, Marketing or Public Relations
  • Bachelor's degree in fields related to Communications, Marketing, English, Public Relations, Journalism, and Advertising
  • Proven track record of strong storytelling, writing, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience leading teams, and projects within a matrixed team and organization
  • Experience with the following computer applications: Outlook, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Bonus if:
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple deadlines with great attention to detail
  • Ability to find and tell great stories.
  • Maintain an enthusiastic approach to working with deadlines
  • Flexibility and willingness to take on a variety of tasks to support the needs of the team
