Inventory Control Specialist

The Clarkson Distribution Centre is in search of an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join their team in a full time capacity.

Responsibilities

• Review of all daily Cycle Counts
• Investigate and troubleshoot cycle count variances
• Participate in the creation and updating of procedural SOP’s where needed to help prevent future inventory discrepancies
• Complete weekly cycle count results reporting
• Delegate cycle count requests to research and resolve customer over ship and short shipment complaints
• Maintain accurate filing and records for all inventory adjustments
• Help conduct and participate in our annual inventory process

• Office budgeted supply control
• Monitor, track and troubleshoot all RF gun and remote printers when needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years inventory control experience
• Previous experience working in warehouse and/or distribution environment
• Proven ability supporting/working with RF equipment and remote printers
• Accurate and detail oriented
• Skilled in managing competing priorities and problem solving under minimal supervision
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Solid understanding of MS Excel, Outlook and Word
• Flexible, enthusiastic and self-driven demeanor
