Duration: Full time, Monday to Friday 9:00am -5:30pm
As a member of the Quality Engineering team, you will support Full Circle. As a product owner on the Full Circle / Motive Quality Engineering team you will work with our partners to establish requirements for the software that our team builds. You will also guide the vision for the products and platforms that we build.
You will report to the Technical Director for Full Circle and Motive Quality Engineering.
- You will use the capabilities of what QE can provide to determine a compelling vision for QV use
- You will be the voice of the QV across all teams to prioritize their collective vision based on return on investment
- You will be the owner of ensuring the items that are built are adopted to their highest potential by requestors
- You will present the value of the capabilities the team provides and look for opportunities in areas where the team is not providing that value and work on continuous improvement projects
- You will oversee multiple test/releases areas
- You will oversee test planning for the components of features
- Assigned tasks and features to the developers
- Understand complex features/systems and how they apply to the product
- You will be an expert with specialized knowledge of a feature area(s)
- You have experience improving overall quality and processes
- You have experience with the Software Development Cycle and you feel empowered to provide feedback at every stage of the cycle
- You enjoy working with team members to organize or gather feedback data
- You understand how technology can be used to improve the area's testing strategy
- You will play a role in setting and report out on goals for the tools the team builds
Daily/Weekly Tasks:
- You will provide qualitative feedback on our features and test features before they are reviewed by our partners
- You will attend team scrum ceremonies and participate in delivery plan meetings
- You will track of bugs logged and monitor issue progress
- You will partner with development teams
- You will ensure team understanding on quality goals and priorities with all our partners
- You will work with our QV partners to create feature briefs and help prioritize the backlog
- You will gather feedback from our partners and help prioritize feedback on the backlog
- You will work with the team to provide effort, bug estimates, defect management and tracking reporting
- You will help identify and escalate risk, bugs and dependencies that impact quality of the product
- You will collect highlights from the team to send a product update email to our partners and other team members
Requirements
- You are a professional QA member with industry experience
- You have experience with writing and gathering requirements
- You have a "Player first" perspective when it comes to promoting quality expectations
- You have an Agile mindset and you're familiar with the Agile process and the scrum framework
- You know how to work in JIRA and understand how to create good user stories
- You have a good grasp of the QV workflow and you find opportunities for improvement
