What you will be doing

We are looking for a creative Conversion Copywriter to write clear and concise copy for ads, websites, and longer form Marketing content (eg.s ebooks or guides). Your words will inform and engage our target audiences across our digital channels.

Our ideal candidate is a team-player, a skilled and imaginative writer with an eye for detail. You are able to grasp project requirements quickly and offer valuable insight. As a conversion copywriter, you are accustomed to working within an iterative testing environment and will be partnering regularly with the web team, product marketing, and other marketing team members. You have the ability to juggle multiple projects all while meeting tight deadlines. Some of your responsibilities will include writing original copy and slogans for advertising, websites, campaigns, PR, email, and maintaining the brand voice across all online channels.Ultimately, you will create informative and engaging content about our products and offerings for our audiences.


Responsibilities
  • Write clear amp; engaging copy within a distinct brand voice
  • Interpret copywriting briefs to understand project requirements
  • Collaborate with designers, Ad strategists, Product Marketing managers, and others on large- and small-scale marketing projects (e.g. email campaigns, landing pages, ad copy)
  • Conduct high-quality research
  • Edit and proofread copy as needed
  • Partner with our in-house SEO Associate and utilize SEO principles to maximize copy’s reach
  • Liaise with Designers to enrich text with visual aids, like images and charts
  • Write copy that drives conversions, increases click through rates or impacts other key metrics as determined by the product owner or other stakeholders
  • Iterating copy based on internal feedback, A/B testing data, and campaign performance

What we are looking for
  • 3+ years proven experience as a copywriter (experience in ecommerce preferred)
  • Knowledge of online content strategy and creation
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Experience with SEO
  • Strong research skills
  • Creativity
  • Collaborative spirit
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • BSc/BA in marketing, English, journalism, communications or related field

Salary Range

$62,000 - 72,000

Working Locations

People amp; Places (HR), Product, and Development roles are based out of our Vancouver headquarters. If you are not located in Vancouver, but interested in relocating for the role let us know!

Whereas, roles on our Marketing and Customer Experience teams are open to remote candidates based out of Toronto and London, UK, in addition to working out of our Vancouver headquarters.
