As ATB’s next Business Support Analyst you will provide team proactive execution and planning support for real estate strategy, construction and operations functions. In this role, you will develop a fundamental knowledge of People Places amp; Spaces (PPamp;S) processes and practices to identify opportunities and influence outcomes/results. As Business Support Analyst you will not only bring curiosity and hunger for knowledge, but will demonstrate your ability to be a part of problem resolution both independently and within teams in order to build strong relationships with our partners. You will utilize your business knowledge to support communications, training the team and resolve challenges that arise. You will also seek out new information, share your ideas with others and look for continuous improvement in what the team does everyday This role is integral in elevating PPamp;S and enabling the team to make it possible.

Reporting to the Director, Real Estate amp; Projects, PPamp;S, the Business Support Analyst is suited for a tech-whiz with excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills who can work independently, think creatively and loves to help others. PPamp;S is ATB’s facility team, responsible for creating environments that enable listening, learning, advising and creating by bringing to life the places and spaces that make it possible.

Requirements

Business Support Analyst Accountabilities:

  • Establishes and leverages internal and external stakeholder relationships to ‘maintain a pulse’ on strategically aligned activities and informs team as relevant
  • Maintains a real time connection and understanding of enterprise strategies and makes connections to team activities and identifies intersections
  • Grow the capabilities of the PPamp;S team by understanding the business, continuously challenging processes and efficiencies, and then making and supporting ongoing recommendations and developments for enhancement
  • Leads team support activities and team process/policy documentation
  • Looks at problems through several lenses, identifies gaps, makes recommendations and contributes to finding solutions by creating supporting documentation including job aids for various audiences in alignment with team and enterprise policies/procedures
  • Edits, creates and reviews documentation and presentations to support the PPamp;S team and leadership as required, creating additional capacity for the team
  • Leads and generates opportunities to promote PPamp;S team, including ATB Connect content management
  • Assists in training and support of PPamp;S team members, including training on current and new processes, software systems and technical guidance
  • Manages all PPamp;S team files, filing best practices and standards to ensure consistency
  • Manages and oversees all PPamp;S team calendars, general inboxes and other organizational tools, making recommendations for improvements as identified
  • Manages all team technology including software licenses, computers, mobile devices and other technology requests; navigating procurement process as new technology opportunities are identified
  • Contributes to PPamp;S team technology roadmap and brings forward continuous improvement ideas
  • Supports PPamp;S team talent planning activities including hiring, onboarding and performance enablement
  • Organizes and supports PPamp;S team engagement activities, learning showcases and team meetings
  • Supports PPamp;S leadership with baseline enterprise research and knowledge and initiative preparation as required

Role Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience in an administration, team support, training or communications role is required
  • An post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field is required
  • A background in facilities management, interior design, architecture, engineering or similar would be beneficial
  • Direct experience in communications, change management or graphic design would be beneficial
  • Ability to lead or assist in training sessions would be considered an asset
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn new software is required
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills w
