Leader Name: Managing Director, Organizational Development


As ATB’s next Portfolio Owner, Organizational Development, you are responsible for providing analysis, support and management of strategic initiatives to ensure returns on investments, achievement of the company vision, and overall strategy. Reporting to the Managing Director Organizational Development, you are an expert in the organizational learning and development space, and have successfully delivered self-led learning initiatives. You’re a visionary excited to shape the future of ATB Financial, its team members, and the client experience. This position will create incremental and re-imagined changes to both learning processes and programs within the Organizational Learning amp; Development team of our broader People amp; Culture portfolio.


Role Accountabilities:

  • Managing and operating Organizational Design programs and products within the Portfolio throughout the full product life cycle
  • Creating the strategy, vision, and road maps for the portfolio and prioritizing new opportunities and ideas against the vision and road map
  • Researching and understanding the subject matter of the portfolio including understanding client needs
  • Understanding and managing the inter-dependencies and relationships between the portfolios, including translating this to project teams and providing guidance as needed
  • Implement a strategic approach to change management, based on the scope of change
  • Implementing processes that reduce or remove obstacles that are preventing accomplishment of operational and business strategic goals
  • Managing and prioritizing needs to deliver outcomes efficiently and effectively
  • Report and develop KPIs to show adoption and impact for all projects
  • Managing skills and talent to complete the work, including evaluating and managing capacity of individuals
  • Coordinate and manage the needs of multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Evaluate and document project lessons learned, and feedback captured, creating future action plans as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor and/or Masters Degree in Organizational Learning amp; Development, Adult Education or related fields
  • 7+ years of progressive/senior experience in the Organizational Learning amp; Development realm
  • Project Management, change management, process governance, product management and product framing
  • Talent development skills including workforce planning, employee experience life cycle, learning and development and talent development strategy
