Position Description:
Stitches Creation Inc. is looking for an Outbound Sales Representative to support their increase in sales. The Outbound Sales Representative is primarily responsible for attracting new customers and orders and retaining current customers. This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships while providing an excellent customer experience.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Customer Attraction (70%):
Reaches sales targets and targeted number of potential customers
Attends industry trade shows for networking and research purposes
Seeks referrals for potential customers through industry professionals and trade partners
Builds positive relationships with prospective and existing customers by communicating constantly via email, phone, and in-person visits
Conducts persuasive presentations to prospective clients to increase client base
Resolves any issues customers have in a timely and friendly manner
Coordinates operations between stakeholders and other positions within the department
General administrative duties regarding client base, including maintaining records of all customer accounts and potential leads
Generates weekly sales reports to management
Customer Service (20%):
Ensures customers are satisfied with the service they receive through being friendly, polite, professional, and quick to address their specific needs
Communicates effectively with customers on an ongoing basis about new opportunities, products, or services
Resolves any problems that arise quickly and effectively, building trust
Adheres to high ethical standards when dealing with sensitive customer information
Marketing and Research (10%):
Works closely with the Marketing Coordinator to prepare effective marketing materials to attract and retain customers
Effectively and efficiently researches and analyzes new and current business opportunities
Constantly monitors the industry environment, competitors, and market conditions to determine emerging markets and areas of opportunity
Working Conditions:
The successful candidate will work closely with other Outbound Sales Representatives to meet sales targets and achieve Stitches Creation Inc.'s goals and objectives. They will also be required to work closely with the Inside Sales Representative to ensure customers' needs are met. The Outbound Sales Representative will report to the Sales Team Leader. Typical hours of work are full-time Monday to Friday from 8:00 am-4:30 pm, with some flexibility available. During the COVID-19 pandemic, employees are required to work on-site at the Burnaby location where proper social distancing and health orders are to be followed.
