The Opportunity:

We’re looking for a Marketing DW Summer Student to join our Marketing team.

Reporting to the Director, Content and Engagement Strategy (Digital Wealth), the Marketing DW Summer Student is responsible for supporting the delivery of content and marketing assets through multiple channels in the B2B and D2C environment. This includes delivery of new advertising, articles, videos, and content on the public website, proprietary platforms, email, digital media, and social media.

What your day looks like:

  • Manage the editorial calendar facilitating changes, additions, and deletions
  • Production support to update content on digital platforms including AEM, Wordpress, Sharepoint, and Dialog Insights. This includes updating and archiving website content, and development and deployment of emails
  • Update content and marketing materials provided to our partners
  • Manage partner marketing requests by facilitating approvals and documenting/updating requests in sprint planners
  • Participate in Qtrade’s CDP pilot and assist the Director with meeting notes, project management, and coordination of activities
  • Ensure design and brand accuracy through platform testing and logging of visual and functional bugs and fixes on behalf of the Digital Experience team
  • Extract and review data from analytics (e.g. Mouseflow, Google Analytics), as well as from customer interviews and focus groups
  • Create guides and tutorials for tools like AEM, Mouseflow, and EnjoyHQ
  • Notetaking for meetings

Learning Opportunities:

The student will learn how to develop holistic marketing programs driven mainly through content marketing. They will be able to apply academic learnings to real-life situations and provide new insights to the team. They will learn new tools for digital marketing that they may not have experience using, such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Dialog Insights, and customer data platforms. Finally, they will learn how to manage marketing projects utilizing agile methodology.

Requirements

Your experience and skills:

  • Currently enrolled to attend post secondary education in the fall of 2021 (e.g. college or university)
  • Experience with MS Office programs including; Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Experience with or willing to learn software programs such as Smartsheet
  • Motivated to learn and gain experience
  • Able to work effectively independently and as a team member
  • Fluent communication skills in English (verbal and written)<
