Salesforce Solutions Engineer

The Salesforce Solutions Engineer is responsible for architectural design and implementation, including both hands-on practical development and technical leadership of our global Sales organization. The Salesforce Solutions Engineer will join our growing Sales Operations team, working alongside a Director of Sales Operations to ensure that Salesforce meets the evolving needs of our rapidly growing business. This position is remote based in the US or Canada in the Eastern time zone.

The individual in this role will have the opportunity to:

  • Design and create application architecture and develop solutions that achieve business objectives that are secure, scalable and maintainable; translating business requirements into systems, services, and solutions.
  • Implement automation to improve processes and support critical business functions.
  • Design and plan integrations between Salesforce and third-party systems.
  • Effectively partner with various teams to define and implement elegant, scalable and sustainable technical solutions using Salesforce technologies with best practices in mind.
  • Create and enable best practices, governance measures, and patterns for custom and configured solutions on the Salesforce platform.
  • Design user-focused and innovative Salesforce solutions involving configuration of Salesforce, creation of complex data models, external integration, business process automation and custom functionality to solve business requirements.
  • Identify best practices, gap areas, and/or any areas of opportunity for improvement in existing process
  • Develop training plans, materials, and documentation for platform user

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Salesforce application development
  • 4 years of technical amp; functional expertise in Salesforce CPQ
  • 3 years of hands-on experience in designing or contributing towards a future state design
  • 5 years of hands-on experience in object modeling
  • Has developed large-scale, end-to-end CRM Sales solutions using Salesforce
  • Experience with highly customized Salesforce API integrations/endpoints
  • Project Management skills; comfortable managing multiple initiatives
  • Proficient with Apex and SDLC Management process
  • Refactoring and tuning Apex codebases for performance improvement
  • Must have experience in leading and translating business requirements ((BA amp; SA mix of experience)
  • Good understanding of automation tools (process builder, flows, approvals, email notifications, etc)
  • Experience in integrating systems with middleware or connectors
