We are seeking a Full-Time Supply Chain Coordinator to join our lean and agile team in our New Westminster, BC office located at unit #33 Braid Street, New Westminster V3L 3P2. This role reports to the Supply Chain Manager. The primary purpose of this job is to assist and coordinate with purchasing, logistics, and daily operational tasks in an effort to support Supply Chain related functions at the Ramp;D facility of ElectraMeccanica Vehicles Corp. A successful individual will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, while developing long-term stakeholder, supplier amp; consumer relationships.

Duties amp; Responsibilities:

General Requirements

  • Draft purchase orders through ElectraMeccanica Operating Procedures (EOP) process in either the corporate ERP software platform or the Dealership Management Software platform.
  • Maintain physical and digital inventory accuracy by practicing industry standards noted in the EOP for the warehouse facilities located in Canada.
  • Execute and support digital and physical inventory stock transfers between all corporate entities and external 3PL warehouse(s) through the multiple Management Information Systems.
  • Use an ERP, and other MIS systems to post and then physically receive purchases (GRNI) from internal stock transfers, as well as from external suppliers. This includes (but is not limited to) office supplies, raw vehicle materials, and equipment/tooling.
  • Assisting the Logistics team and its network with tasks such as creating shipping documents and coordinating the pick-up/delivery of domestic and international shipments.
  • Assisting the Quality department in gathering and analyzing information in order to resolve quality issues that have been reported by the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) Committee.
  • Maintain vendor and carrier network relations through duties such as assessing Vendor performance, facilitating discussions around issues raised for existing orders, and by occasionally auditing the Local Vendor Network based on the Operation department’s KPIs.
  • Prepare and disseminate communications on timelines and progress updates for different active JIRA tickets to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Supports team members and stakeholders in company projects by adhering and comply to all document control requirements, and established Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Supports management and EMV teams in collecting and analyzing data for various projects to aid in management decisions.
  • Communicate and work closely with internal customers, vendors, courier forwarders, and all other agents by generating vital documentation through the structures of establish operating procedures.
  • Other duties as occasionally required by your manager.

Requirements

  • One to Two (1-2) years' experience in an operations or supply chain related field is required for this role.
  • Business related post-secondary education is considered an asset for this role.
  • Prior experience in the automotive industry is considered an asset for this role.
  • Excellent Verbal amp; Written communication skills builds effective relationships across departments.
  • Strong understanding of logistics, brokerage, and international clearance is an asset for this role.
  • High-level of computer literacy (including spreadsheets) and familiarity with DMS/ERP/JIRA software.
  • Drives a focus of continuous improvement processes within the workplace.
  • Team player comfortable at consistently working with multiple teams.
  • Results-oriented, self-driven individual.
  • Legally able to work in Canada.
  • Possesses a valid Driver’s License
