Junior Technical Analyst

Job Description
We are looking for a Jr. Technical analyst to join our client's team in BC. As successful candidate you will have the ability to work at a help desk, and 2-3 years of experience in the Financial services sector. You must be a self starter, good communicator, problem solver, trustworthy and one that is flexible as this role requires going in to office once in a while. You are a local resident and be able to commute to office when needed.
- As a Technical Analyst in addition to administrative tasks, the role requires ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve Hardware and software issues
- Must be able to communicate well to handle front-line support to inbound requests (via phone, email, IT Helpdesk/ticketing system)
- Must be a good thinker and able to deliver efficient and timely service assisting multiple clients with their hardware/software related issues
- Ability to communicate with internal and external clients professionally and interface with other teams and escalate issues with service providers as required.
- Should be able to provide support for projects as and when required and co-ordinate end to end client support to resolve issues
- Coordinate and support system changes, user builds (including new user setups), user offboarding, and workstation relocations.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in the Financial services sector
- Experience with Wireless Networks and Mobile Solutions
- Experience troubleshooting TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP
- Experience of working with Phone systems, Windows Server 2008 and 2012
- Experience with Windows Operating Systems (Windows 7, 8, 10)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products and experience with PC and Laptop hardware
- A fast learner with a problem solving attitude that can handle many priorities in a demanding environment with attention to detail
Note: The company is willing to pay for the parking fees when you need to go in to the office.
