As a Business Analyst, you will play an important role in supporting our web development teams and operations through the analysis and delivery of technology projects. Your role will be to analyze, document and support the delivery of a variety of business projects aimed at the evolution of our digital platforms.
You will work in a dynamic and rewarding environment and actively participate in several stages of business strategy development, continuous improvement of our operations and the development of our technologies across Canada.
Reporting to the Team Leader, Business Analyst, you will be an integral part of a large team of IT/SI specialists (analysts, developers, project managers, network administrators, etc.) and play a key role in defining the needs of our internal clients.
What will your work week look like?
- Conduct analysis of the business portfolio of our in-house product managers to provide business solutions that support their needs and business strategy.
- Work with key stakeholders in the various internal departments (Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and Administration) to understand our operations and their needs, suggest improvements and define the requirements for the web development team.
- Analyze and document requests, communicate functional and technical needs to IM/IT, and track impacts or outcomes after production.
- Participate in the design of new digital features in the definition of needs and objectives, functional specifications, wireframes, performance analysis and results tracking.
- Support the various departments as technology experts, in the realization of their projects and the continuous improvement of their ways of doing things.
Requirements
What do you need to come and analyze with us?
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, E-Commerce or any other relevant diploma.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in business analysis, functional analysis, digital project management or other relevant experience.
- Technological knowledge:
- Web development
- Databases (MySQL)
- API/Microservices (an asset)
- Knowledge of the web and systems, as well as related practices an asset: SEO/SEM, analytics, content strategy and marketing, information and database architecture, mobility, accessibility.
- Experience in project delivery in Scrum/Agile mode (an asset).
- Consulting experience (an asset).
