Job Description

We currently require an established, motivated, innovative individual to join our dynamic team in the following position:

Business Development Representative - Instrumentation

This individual will be based out of our Calgary office with a focus on fostering new leads and development net new business in Western Canada. The successful applicant will be responsible for representing BHD’s extensive product lines and growing sales. The role will be a combination of establishing relationships with an existing customer base as well as expanding BHD's presence in additional market verticals.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining an existing B2B client base in Western Canada (BC, AB, SK, MB)
  • Achieve growth through the identification and development of new opportunities
  • Identify and recommend solutions for process instrumentation, test equipment and reliability
  • Become an expert in key product lines and have a breadth of knowledge in all products available

Calibration Labs - We operate 4 ISO 17025 accredited calibration labs specializing in temperature, pressure, electrical, dimensional, torque

Rental Fleet - We carry a rental fleet to help support our clients during projects, commissioning and short term needs

Requirements

  • 3 plus years of experience managing a sales territory
  • Previous experience/education in Instrumentation, Electrical or Reliability Industry
  • Organized, independent, self-motivated with a strong ability to prioritize
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment
  • A strong knowledge of target industries and clients
  • Valid driver’s license, as frequent travel is required
