The Role

Included in the Marketing team, the Sales Development Representative is responsible for qualifying leads at the initial stages in the sales funnel. You will be responsible of researching potential clients, connecting with and educating prospects, and qualifying leads before handing them off to the closers of the sales team. You are detail-oriented, dedicated to delivering extraordinary experiences, and a team player who is excited to be part of a dynamic and ambitious marketing team.

Responsibilities

Unblu is a fast-growing company that is now looking to expand the team within Canada. We are looking for someone that helps us:

  • Build and manage a sustainable and growing prospect pipeline in Canada.
    • Outbound: reach out to prospects in the form of cold calls, emails, or social networks.
    • Inbound: qualify prospects who have shown interest in our product by reaching out to us via phone call, the website, email, etc.
  • Meet annual revenue goals - influenced opportunities
  • Support the sales team at meetings and events

Requirements

  • At least 1-2 years of proven success in account development in the Canadian market. Preferably with experience in selling software into the financial industry.
  • Proven track record in KPIs/quota over-achievement
  • Basic understanding of web technologies and the setup of digital channels is a plus
  • Experience in demoing a system is a plus
  • Excellent communicator in written and verbal
  • Self-motivated, work independent
