Director of Sales

We’re looking for a high-performing Director of Sales to join, scale and lead our Sales team. Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for developing key growth sales strategies, tactics, and action plans. Being responsible for the Sales team, you will need to hit annual targets by building relationships and understanding customer trends.

More specifically, you will be asked to:

  • Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets
  • Maintain KPI’s, OKR’s and other measures of success and performance
  • Optimize sales funnel conversion rate through data analysis and process improvement
  • Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
  • Hire, develop and coach a team of Sales Development Representatives and Account Executives
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
  • Understand category-specific landscapes and trends
  • Reporting on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts

Requirements

You’ll do great if you are/have:

  • Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets by innovating and changing the status quo
  • Previous experience in a Sales leadership role with demonstrated collaboration and sense of ownership
  • Experience selling a SaaS/Web Application or similar tech-based platforms or softwares
  • Ability to communicate effectively and present to various levels including C-Level executives
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully lead a team of individual contributors to achieve their goals
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process, articulate distinct aspects of products and services and position product and service against competitors
  • Perfectly bilingual (French/English) in writing and speaking.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
