We are offering a position of a Full-time Parts Manager to help develop, grow, and oversee our Parts Department. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service in the sales and advising of vehicle parts, repair components, wholesaling to repair shops, body shop, over the counter sales, and to the technician and service team at the dealership, as well as prospecting wholesale clients. ROLE amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan, implement, and attain departmental objectives and goals by creating procedures and processes
- Promptly greeting and helping parts customers both walk in and phone in
- Provide excellent customer service
- Provide accurate and timely quotes for all parts / accessories
- Issue parts as required / requested by technicians /staff requisitions
- Familiarity with the process of ordering and arranging parts and setting up delivery as required.
- Accurately record transactions and data into DMS
- Maintain systemized storage facilities ensuring proper security for parts and tools
- Maintain a comprehensive record system on parts, tools, issuing accounts, and analysis records for quality control and warranty
- Ensure invoices and accounts are accurate, paid, and closed
- Manage store inventory of parts and accessories and reduce aging inventory to maximize availability and efficiency
- Assist in all aspects of promoting accessories and parts sales to create greater sales, gross profit, and CSI with all clients
- This position will be expected to perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
- Positive attitude and team player mentality a must
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong ability to multi-task with minimal supervision
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Must be detail-oriented and accurate
- Strong ability to handle stress in a cooperative setting
- Minimum of 3 years of Parts Management experience (Volvo Cars preferred)
- Must have a valid BC Driver’s License with clean abstract
