What’s the role?
We are looking for a Senior C#/.NET Developer to join our development team who is passionate about agile methodology and wanting to contribute to a fast-paced, highly collaborative Scrum team. You will be responsible for participating in the entire software development life cycle, from designing APIs and debugging applications to working with Product Owners and configuring existing systems. As a Senior Developer, you will bring a wealth of hands-on experience to our team in .NET C# development and you will be integral in the development and commercialization of our cmCore.io productivity platform. Just like us, you love learning, being challenged, and challenging others to grow and improve while bringing creative ideas and novel approaches to the table to solve problems.
Role responsibilities:
- Create innovative web applications using C# and ASP.Net Core
- Ability to lead and mentor junior/intermediate developers
- Analyze system requirements and prioritize tasks
- Write clean, testable code using the .NET stack
- Develop technical specifications and architecture
- Test and debug various .NET applications
- Review and refactor code
- Deploy fully functional applications
- Document development and operational procedures
Requirements
Desired Skills and Experience:
- 5-7+ years work experience as a C#/.NET Developer
- In-depth knowledge of the .NET ecosystem (C#, .NET Core, .NET Framework, .NET Standard)
- Experience architecting production grade Web Applications
- Competent in T-SQL, structuring relational databases and managing MSSQL Server.
- Leadership experience with end to end product design while in an agile environment
- Strong troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient knowledge of object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
- Experience building secure REST APIs and using messaging services
- A solid understanding of GIT and GIT Flow
- Experience with Azure Stack an asset
- Experience with SPA's (React/Redux) an asset
Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
