Job Description

We are looking for a high-performing Business Development Director to join our growing team. The Business Development Manager will be focused on developing sales opportunities, prospecting and engaging new and existing customers in ongoing sales processes. This position requires a successful hunter to prospect, qualify and close business. A successful candidate is one who leads by example, shares a passion for helping clients achieve successful outcomes, and is looking for unlimited personal growth potential. You will deliver results through benchmark sales execution in support of the account strategy jointly created with the executive team which will leverage the company’s resources, exceptional brand, and solid track record.


Responsibilities
  • Develop business opportunities to meet sales targets for the Practices lines of business. This includes end-to-end implementation for SAP, Salesforce, Magento, and Workday from a product line perspective, as well selling value added services in project governance, QA and Testing.
  • Find and close new prospects based on these Practices lines of business
  • Find new prospects for our offering in hybrid cloud implementations (e.g. Google, AMS)
  • Makes initial and follow-up calls to prospective clients for the purpose of scheduling sales appointments
  • Identify prospects across industries, including Finance, Manufacturing, Retail
  • Work closely with the inside sales team and other sales professionals in the organization to drive sales for the organization
  • Work with all stakeholders to achieve sustainable growth
  • Makes presentations to potential client decision makers and facilitate meetings for other knowledgeable resources at Prodigy to assist in closing sales
  • Maintain a database of prospective, opportunities, contact history and future activities.
  • Maintain a sales pipeline using software products identified by the firm
  • Provide the highest levels of customer service throughout the sales cycle
  • Drive exceptional satisfaction with the company and continue in the tradition of the brand excellence already established


Responsibility for Client Sales: Your focus will be on driving sales by building relationships with new clients, and transitioning relationships to account manager where applicable within the territory.


Responsibility for Customer Satisfaction (CUSAT): The satisfaction of our customers is a key principle and core belief at Prodigy Labs. As a sales leader within the Practices business, you will play a key leadership role in providing service to the client, coaching to the delivery teams, and constructive feedback to management to create satisfaction.

Responsibility for Business Sustainability: We strive to enter each new year in a stronger position to grow aggressively within the areas of our focus. The key to business sustainability is the development of client trust. It is critical that clients relationships be nurtured to a depth level where we have earned the right to provide services that drive business sustainability.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years experience successfully selling technology solutions (software and or software related services)
  • Experience as a sales hunter is mandatory for this role
  • Demonstrated experience selling consulting opportunities to meet sales quotas
  • Working with enterprise clients
  • Experience working with HubSpot, SalesForce, or Similar CRM
  • Sufficient knowledge of some of the Practices focus areas to be able to have informed discussions with prospects in order to set up sales meetings.
  • Strong understanding of the sales process, with the ability to build and service a sales pipeline to meet the sales targets for the year
  • Be able to hit the ground running
  • Demonstrated ability to increase revenues in designated regions
  • Ability to deal with challenges in the sales process ability to ‘no’ into ‘yes’ when working with clients
  • Ability negotiate deals with clients
  • Ability to communicate clearly with clients, prospects, and management
  • Ability to manage clients effectively and to establish communication channels
