Axya is looking for a great JavaScript developer who is proficient with React.js.

We are a fast-growing technology start-up company. Our product is an online platform that connects buyers and suppliers working in the manufacturing industry.

More than 700 companies use the Axya platform. The platform is in constant development and artificial intelligence projects are currently underway.

The challenge

• Developing new user-facing features using React.js
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
• Address technical debts and recommend best practices to improve the overall structure of the project
• Collaborate and able to lead, help and mentor team members in the development lifecycle

Requirements

What do you need to succeed?

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in front-end web development
• Deep experience with JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks with a strong emphasis on ReactJS
• Experience with Typescript
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
• Extensive understanding of front-end routing with React-Router
• Deep experience with DOM and browser internals
• Knowledge of Javascript design patterns and general design considerations
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• Excellent communication (verbal/written) including the ability to distill technical details into human terms
