Position Title: Outcome Evaluation Analyst

Location: New Westminster, BC

Reports To: Executive Director, Healthcare Operations-Western Canada

Date: July 29, 2021

I. Scope amp; Summary of Primary Responsibilities

The Outcome Evaluation Analyst will work within a team and be responsible for developing and incorporating an evaluation framework with measurement tools into key operational programs. The Outcome Evaluation Analyst will provide leadership throughout the organization, support and project management on matters related to outcome assessment, performance measurement and program and organizational evaluation. They will develop and deliver high-quality analysis, funding reports, presentations and briefing notes demonstrating accountability and/or providing advice for operational and strategic decision-making.

II. Essential Functions

The position entails, but is not limited to the following general responsibilities:

  • Data collection (qualitative and quantitative) and online data entry for outcome evaluation projects and services.
  • Undertake applied research and statistical analyses projects in support of health care services initiatives, utilization reviews, outcomes research, health planning/projections, and quality assurance.
  • Tracking of outcome data collection using client management software, survey results and action planning.
  • Collaborating with leadership on evaluation methods, service delivery logic models, related accreditation standards, and integrating results into operational changes.
  • Produce regular and ad hoc reports that monitor and benchmark cost, utilization and other quality and performance indicators for rehabilitation services and communicate findings to staff and external stakeholders at the local, regional, provincial and national levels.
  • Keep abreast of relevant literature, science policy developments, and related emerging practices by identifying, monitoring and reviewing trends and issues related to Samp;T.
  • Assist in the development of policies, procedures, tools and processes that ensure on-going effective and efficient conduct of outcome assessment, corporate performance measurement, and evaluation projects.
  • Develop and maintain networks with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that activities are complementary and designed to meet the needs of major stakeholders.
  • Support Executive Director with evaluation reports to funders.
  • Additional support for outcome evaluation and related research projects on an as needed basis.

  • Relationships

  • In conjunction with the Executive Director, Healthcare Operations Western Canada, implements the evaluation framework
  • Works in collaboration with service quality and innovation for alignment of strategic initiatives.
  • Builds and sustains positive relationships with staff and clients.
  • Works pro-actively to identify informational needs and participates in a collaborative environment.
  • Works closely with managers and teams supporting them with evaluation of reports and project management tools.
  • Ensuring Records Management processes and standards meet the needs of organizations while ensuring that standardized processes most efficiently used.
