As a Sales Development Representative, you will be at the spearhead of the company. You will be working with the leads from the growth team, preparing campaigns with marketing but you will also reach out to new prospects and challenge their current status by proposing solutions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The SDR works in close collaboration with Sales Executives and will be operating from Toronto, CA

Identify and qualify new sales opportunities for Optimy (cold calling, phone campaigns, email actions, social selling, etc.)

Plan calls and email activities to generate leads, in collaboration with the Marketing and Sales teams

Collaborate with Sales colleagues to identify ongoing strategic targets

Data entry in our CRM system, to stay current on leads and follow-ups

Actively follow up on ageing/stagnant leads and opportunities to re-energize back into an active sales cycle


REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE

Fluent in English. Any other European language is a strong plus !

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

You are resilient, competitive and self-motivated

You have a positive attitude and demonstrated ability to deal with rejection


Nice to have:

Worked with HubSpot.com or a similar CRM

Experience in high volume activity working environments, involving phone, email and social media.

Background in High-Tech/Software industry

Knowledge of account-based marketing and social selling
