We work as an integrated product design team. Designers, developers, and PMs work together with no silos or artificial barriers. We value flexibility in how we work, and don’t have a one-size fits all approach to tackling problems in the construction tech space. We also place high importance on collaboration, within our team, with product management and development, and with the company as a whole.

What you will do

As Product Designer, you will help us solve complex business problems with intuitive solutions that our customers will love. You are a driven, critical-thinking designer who loves to collaborate. In this role, you’ll be owning the design for a vertical of our Bridgit Bench product and will be working closely with an owner from product management and development.

You can expect to:

• Work through problems from exploration, to definition, to execution, taking a meticulous approach to finalizing high-fidelity designs
• Contribute to defining design processes on a small design team
• Evaluate your design solutions through usability testing and soliciting feedback internally and externally
• Define and prioritize design opportunities within projects
• Strategize the approach to your work, thinking in terms of design systems not just screens
• Design and prototype multiple ideas quickly to validate product directions
• Participate in design team collaborative sessions, exploration outside of feature work
• Collaborate with designers of other verticals
• Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of shipped solutions to inform iterations
• Work closely with development and product teams as you build and ship ideas

• You have 3+ years relevant design experience at a product-driven company where you’ve designed digital apps and systems. You have helped ship products, ideally in the SaaS/B2B space (or have a strong desire to do so).
• You’re able to clearly communicate design work to multiple stakeholders, with solid rationale that uses research and data to back up your decisions.
• You can describe yourself as a driven self-starter who is excited about collaborating within the design team as well as non-designers.
• You have a good understanding of the product development process, from problem definition through to detailed UI and visual design.
• You are a creative problem-solver who can iterate with low-fidelity sketches of workflows and translate those into beautiful high-fidelity designs. Along with that, you have the ability to understand and follow a design system, and contribute to it when necessary.
• You are a team player; you know how to check your ego at the door and focus on what’s best for our team, company, and customers.
