The Valour FC Match Director is CPL’s official representative in the venue. They are responsible for the entire venue administration for matches and for ensuring the venue operates smoothly and in full compliance with CPL protocols. They oversee the integration of all soccer related staff onsite to ensure the successful implementation and perfect organization of the match. They will work in conjunction with CPL staff, IG Field staff and soccer related personal to complete their roles and responsibilities.
- Ensuring the correct implementation of concepts of competition CPL requirements.
- Completing all match documentation
- Match Official Countdown, Match Reports, Checklists, Sub Cards etc.
- Booking amp; following up on team amp; official’s activities
- Official team practice sessions, media activities, arrival at the stadium.
- Official’s arrivals, transportation, accreditation.
- Ensuring stadium readiness for a soccer match
- Locker rooms, team benches etc.
- Ensuring the pitch corresponds to the laws of the game.
- Supervising match day referee amp; team liaisons.
- Leading pre-match ceremony ensuring timely kick-offs.
- Coordinate starts with broadcast
- Document subs, cards, delays
- Venue trouble-shooting related to the match
Requirements
- Ability to work all Valour FC Match Days and Official Practices (Day before Match Day).
- Ability to work under pressure, work independently and take initiative.
- Ability to communicate effectively, including strong verbal communication skills.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Basic use of computer programs Email, Word, Excel
- Understanding of CPL standards is an asset.
- Valid driver’s license.
