Do you enjoy troubleshooting a piece of writing? Do you have strong opinions on what makes content excellent? Is proofreading second nature to you? We need to talk. Contentfly is looking for an Associate Editor to work with our marketplace of freelance writers and ensure that we consistently deliver high-quality content to our clients.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Review a high volume of content from freelance writers daily.
• Provide line-editing, copy-editing, fact-checking, and structural feedback on a variety of content, such as articles, landing pages, sales copy, emails, etc.
• Ensure content meets basic SEO requirements, as applicable.
• Perform final quality review on content before submitting to customers.
• Collaborate with project managers to assess the quality of content briefs and revision requests.
• Collaborate with customer success managers to investigate and resolve quality complaints.
  

About you

• You know great writing when you see it. Your experience has honed your instinct for quality, so you can very quickly identify areas for improvement.
• You communicate critical feedback professionally and constructively.
• You have excellent editing and proofreading skills.
• You have a foundational knowledge of SEO.
• You have 3+ years experience in writing or editing.
• Content marketing experience is a big plus.
