We have built proprietary VISO technologies leveraging machine learning, digital signal processing and big data to power our platform and ecosystem and are the second largest video property worldwide in terms of unique viewers following only Google, reaching tens of billions of monthly impressions.

We have an opening for a talented product designer to join our growing Ramp;D team and work on our flagship VISO product. The position entails a high level of responsibility within the Ramp;D team, and your contribution will substantially impact the satisfaction of thousands of content creators.

You will have the opportunity to work in a creative environment where your design ideas matter. This role reports to our Director, Product Design and works closely with Designers, Product Managers/Owners, and Engineers to design, iterate, validate and produce a world-class experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify user needs by leveraging qualitative and quantitative data, determining the right level of fidelity for a given challenge, and communicating ideas visually from sketches, wireframes, and mockups while refining designs with user feedback.
• Collaboratively plan and observe user tests and other design research activities.
• Design and maintain systems to create simple, elegant, and smooth experiences for the users.
• Practice the balance between UX and elegant UI.
• Support internal teams such as Engineering and Product through clear guidelines, assets and creative problem solving
• Provide mentorship and guidance to more junior members of the team.
• Deliver detailed wireframes, user flows, design and other artifacts and refine as needed during project sprints.
• Share knowledge and educate the organization’s management, staff, partners, customers, and stakeholders about the company’s vision, opportunities, and challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a product designer, user experience designer, interaction designer or similar role.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating your high-quality work and problem-solving abilities (please make sure to provide a link to your portfolio when submitting your application)
• Experience designing complex enterprise applications - not just websites - is a must.
• Experience with design tools such as Figma or Sketch.
• Excellent attention to detail, with a commitment to putting the user first.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including communicating effectively in small and large groups and defending your design decisions.
• Effective at personal organization and management of communication tools like email, JIRA and Slack.
• Ability to uphold responsiveness and collaboration in a remote environment. You are an organized self-starter with strong communication skills. Being part of a distributed team requires proactive communication and sometimes even oversharing
• Knowledge of front-end development and understanding of motion principles and motion design for the web considered a strong asset
