Business Development Representative

Are you driven and motivated to make an impact? This is the role for you! We’re looking for a Business Development Representative to join our Sales team. You'll be directly responsible to find new opportunities, contact leads, and directly contribute to Spaceful's growth across Canada.

Your core day-to-day tasks are the following:

  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns to sales opportunities;
  • Contact potential clients through cold calls, emails, and social selling;
  • Assess client's current fulfillment methods to identify their needs;
  • Suggest appropriate products and services based on client needs;
  • Schedule demos with potential merchants and Account Executives;
  • Build and foster long-term relationships of trust with clients;
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market;
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services an pricing/payment plans;

Requirements

You’ll do great if you have/are:

  • 2+ years of proven work experience as a Business Development Representative or similar role;
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques including cold calls;
  • Persistence in the face of daily rejection and delays;
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced progressive environment;
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce);
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics;
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations, an asset;
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field, an asset.
