HR Generalist
We’re looking for an HR Generalist to join our growing People team at Shakepay! You will play a hands-on role, building and scaling our People programs, making Shakepay the best place to work in Canada! You will: - Support the People amp; Culture lead at Shakepay and the team around it as the company grows
- Support workforce planning and execution, building talent development and engagement strategy
- Support day-to-day people and culture processes encompassing all aspects of Shakers (health amp; safety, benefits, to name a few)
- Identify, recommend and proactively take initiative for process and workflow improvements that will allow us to scale and support our significant growth goals
- Develop and manage the onboarding process with a focus on helping every new Shaker jump into our culture successfully
- Organize team virtual events and efforts that continue to move our strong culture forward
Must have:- 2+ years of experience as HR Generalist in a rapid growth environment
- Experience in HR functions such as workforce planning, performance management, career development planning amp; executing, compensation amp; benefits management
- Experience leading change management efforts for complex HRIS/ATS implementations
- Ability to operate autonomously and in close collaboration with other leaders, as needed
- Deep knowledge of best practices in People analytic amp; People Development/Leadership
Nice to have: - Experience working in a startup or fast-growing tech company
- Basic prior knowledge or some familiarity with Bitcoin
