1Password is being shared with new people every day, and we’re adding people to our team to keep up. We’re looking for a Business Systems Developer to help make sure our team has reliable hardware, software, and services. As a member of the Back Office team, you’ll learn how to wear many hats.
Reporting to the Manager, IT, you recognize how using code can help solve problems by streamlining repetitive tasks. As you will be tasked with building integrations and automated systems between our internal IT and security tooling, you are the go-to with many internal teams to help build and integrate those successful tools. Collaborating with team members on things such as ticket escalations, researching new tools, and mentorship are all important functions of the day-to-day role!
This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.What we're looking for:
- 2+ years in a Systems Administrator or similar role in a mixed-OS environment.
- Be familiar with common SaaS applications that keep the business going such as Google Workplace, Slack, Atlassian, Lever, GreenHouse, Workday, Monday.com, Trello, OKTA, Calendly, SalesForce and common cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Understanding of Identity and Access Management best practices.
- Some comfort level working in Object Oriented programming languages such as Python, GoLang, Ruby, C, Java, etc.
- Deployment and management tooling Jamf, AutoPKG, OsQuery.
What you can expect:
- Identify opportunities for automation with the goal of reducing gaps in workflow and operational tasks.
- Research and lead buildout of solutions through combinations of custom code, IT toolstack, and deploying new tools and platforms.
- Experience with onboarding and maintaining an identity provider service.
- Collaborating with our teams to identify gaps in their workflow to reduce operational tasks.
- Assist team members with ticket escalations.
- Collect and analyze information to find the best solutions for hardware and software issues.
- Work on various projects related to increasing productivity, security, and ease of use.
- Contribute to designing and implementing policies and procedures.
- Develop and execute the hardware distribution function in a scalable way, and manage inventory and track asset history.
