Our Regina location is looking to add a skilled Detailer to the team!
JOB PURPOSE: Drafting amp; Project Managing of construction projects. Provide concise, accurate information for our customers on a daily basis.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Demonstrate conduct consistent with Harris Rebar’s vision and values.
- Draft and Manage simple projects with little or no assistance
- Communicate with customers, and Consultants on all questions relating to project; submit Requests for Information (RFI) as required.
- Work with Customers to ensure all material is ordered and delivered to maintain construction schedules.
- Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports
- Review all claims of shortages or errors.
- Ensure proper coding of all material
- Follow one or more projects from estimate though drafting and fabrication to installation at the job site.
- Perform other duties as required by your supervisor.
Requirements
Construction and concrete related construction knowledge and experience particularly helpfulBasic knowledge of construction or civil technologyAt least six months experience with Windows based softwareAbility to read architectural/engineering drawingsAbility to work as a team member on projects with an aptitude for problem solvingOrganized and detail oriented is a mustAble to manage time effectively and prioritize responsibilitiesEffective verbal and communication skillsCompletion of Architectural Technologies and Engineering Design and Drafting Technology is considered an asset
