Job Description
We are looking for Software Development Engineers in Test to help us work on the future of developer tools for the Tezos blockchain. When creating open-source tools for Tezos application creators, we focus on a rich developer experience, clarity, productivity, and satisfaction while providing reliable, high-quality products.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of dedicated engineers and to collaborate with the users of our tools, from individual hobbyists to teams in large regulated institutions. In addition to developing automated testing and adding quality checks to the CI/CD, you will contribute to protocol standardization efforts through building and testing prototypes including final tooling implementations that support such protocols.

Your Responsibilities
- Participate in building scalable, efficient automated processes for the software build pipeline
- Provide input on the design of a test framework tooling for Tezos Smart Contract developer workflows
- Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services from inception and design, through deployment, operation and refinement
- Communicating amp; pair-programming with teammates in person or remotely
- Serve as an expert for ECAD’s infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
- Remain knowledgeable about our market, competitive solutions, and business opportunities
- Work directly with stakeholders to understand what they need to be able to do in order to be successful in their jobs
- Develop and maintain documentation and code that allows persons skilled in the art to reproduce / redeploy all infrastructure under your purview
- Develop skills in the configuration and secure operation of company key vault systems such as Google Cloud Key Management, Azure KMS and YubiHSM2 devices.
- Participate and look to improve the maintenance of infrastructure as code

Requirements
- Knowledge amp; curiosity of computer science fundamentals (type systems, data structures, algorithms, state machines, etc.)
- Be a lifelong learner.
- Eager to prototype an idea over having a meeting about an idea
- Have the ability to reflect upon past choices and act upon those reflections.
- Minimum 2 or more years of relevant experience in IT Performance Testing.
- Expertise in Performance Testing tools
- Execute benchmark, load, stress, endurance and other non-functional tests.
- Monitor application logs to determine system behavior. Address all technical issues; facilitate the resolution and necessary follow up.
- Generate performance graphs, session reports and other related documentation required for validation and analysis.
- Strong problem solving skills and very good time management skills.
- Design Performance Test Scripts based on requirements
- Participate in performance bottleneck analysis and fixes
- Run and manage performance test campaigns
- Ability to apply statistical analysis to performance data
- Aptitude, ability and interest in communicating performance results to the larger community
- Willingness to share technical knowledge and provide guidance

Annual Salary
$80,000 - $100,000
